She left and so did she

…Nick kept telling her…she kept ignoring. Nick was sure but she wasn’t. First time in life Nick knew he was sure; he knew he can’t be wrong this time. It was hapenning finally for him. He was finally feeling it too from inside. He trusted his feelings now and he knew his head is saying what his heart is saying too.

She took her bag and started to walk out. He asked her to stop for a while but she was adamant. Nick wanted to do all he could to stop her from going away from him. He said -’please stay! atleast for old times’ sake.‘. She took a step forward but stopped abruptly and kept her bag back on the table next to the CDs she had given to him last year.

Nick remained silent, he knew he wanted to say a thousand things he had popping in his mind; all that he ever wanted to tell her but the words simply couldn’t come out of his mouth. He was clueless and didn’t knew how to proceed. He sat down on the messy couch and felt it. He took it in his hands-it smelled of her.

She turned back and  saw him with the black cashmere glove in his hand. Her heart skipped. She almost had a tear in the corner of her eye. She just mumbled something to grab Nick’s attention. He looked up and said-’it still smells wonderful‘.

She came closer to him and sat down with her hand resting on his knees. He kept his head over her shoulder too. They layed still like that for the next few minutes. Time had stopped at that moment.

The door flung open and she was saying loudly -’Nicky baby I forgot my glove on your couch‘ and then she remained still near the door. She just saw them and turned back.

Nick ran behind her not realizing she hurt herself from the couch corner.

Nick said-’Please stop ! I don’t want you to go …please I was just about to close the chapter.‘ She simply looked back with hideous red eyes and said -’Never call me!

Nick went back inside with the glove still in his hand and saw her taking the bag from the table……She said-’Good bye Nick! I am glad its finally over. I knew for long that you were no longer in love with me. I saw you and your new love interest kissing in the park once.  I am just glad you confessed it today and fyou atleast felt remorse for it.

She left and so did she.

Poor Nick!…..”He trusted his feelings now and he knew his head is saying what his heart is saying too” …not an easy state to reach!

I am sorry, but I laughed at the plight of the poor boy. Somehow it again reminded me of Izazat.
