Sakhi’s tag has exorcised me to come out of oblivion and quickly do this quirky tag… 6 quirky quirky quirky things about me—hmmm wondering what??
Well don’t scratch your head much on the repetitive title-Its just that I am quite quirky quirky quirky and can’t say it just once (my mind says it three times automatically….)
Ok here is the roll:
- I once saw a ghost in our new house in Delhi. The ghost had broad shoulders and was grey in color. He had no lower body. I saw him open my bedroom’s wardrobe. Timid me- ran out to the living room.
- When Rajiv Gandhi died I was in grade 2 may be, I sincerely believed his soul walked behind me for three-four years.
- I got lost as a kid TWICE. The last time I got lost was when I was three. It was raining very heavily and my grandfather went out somewhere. I followed him and got lost. My mom gave up the hope when there was no trace of me for the whole night. She thought I must have drowned in the water. Next morning, I was found eating chocolates in Sardar ji ki dukaan few blocks away from our house by daddy .
- I actually believed that there were actors and actresses behind the TV screen. The concept of VCR meant- when we buy/rent a VHS Tape or Cassette- we also ask the actors to come inside the TV and perform.
- I had minor dylexia as a child and had great difficulties learning the concept of < or >, p and b’s.
- I sing and talk a LOT when I sleep. Hubby dear has lots of recordings. I talk a lot about my childhood, I sing – ‘Chipkali ke naana hai, daanasur daanasur daanasur, chipkali ke hai sasur- Daanasur Daanasur Daanasur ‘. I sometimes even discuss about him with some imaginary dream friend. I even do my morning assembly Head girl bit like – stand at ease, attention and actually do it very loud. I don’t know how he is coping with me!!!

Yep I am so so sure about seeing a ghost……. And trust me we aren’t that blessed to have seen those… its so eerie…

@ Indianhomemaker – nuh huh seeing a ghost without lower body is seriously not funny.. I was so damn scared…..I ran off to the living room to be near my mum…..
And yes I have got lost twice….. actually its thrice- but never mind!!

Wow, I never got lost as a child. Actually I would never go anywhere so the question of getting lost didn’t really arise.
And yea, even I sing and blabber weird things when I’m asleep. It’s really scary because you can end up saying things you don’t exactly want others to know.
@ ish – Why would you never go anywhere? Were you a timid kid????? I so doubt so!
Hey even I am worried -I sometimes talk to my imagiiary friend in sleep talking about poor anupam ..like – he didnt toook me shopping and all that..

As I told sakhi – I must have been crying at my loudest best till Sardarji uncle decided to give me chocolate to keep my not so stinky mouth shut!

#1 . well I recognised it as a ghost as it was grey and quite translucent and I am happy it never stole my dear clothes…..

#4. Yeah I talk, sing, dance, fight – I live almost another life while I sleep….

It was a good read.. I liked your last point. I used to think only kids do such stuff. Amazed to see a grown up person do this. It is kinda amusing..

The first two scared me. Even I have seen a ghost. I find it really hard to make people believe me. Usually they just laugh it away.
And you talk while sleeping? 
My sis used to do that. I even found her once sleeping on the floor one morning.
