Yeah I gave you all ample dosage of my hindi amateur poetry and its time I share some personal rants!!
Its Oct 5..just one more day to go for the Bdy…I updated the blogfolks last yr about the bdy plans..this yr too preparations and planning started in late August.
We came out with a list of close friends and we will be having a bash on 10th, Saturday as the birthday is on a weekday.
First things first which was a major point of cordial disagreement between the loving us was the Dress…yeah we were hunting for this outfit that I had in my mind since 3-4 weeks and coming back empty handed. I just had this vision of what I wanted and was not settling on anything remotely or closely similar. He gave up his hopes and was pretty upset with me!!! Finally Soni aunty told me about this store and we went there on Saturday, 3 Oct. It was close to 3:45 pm and stores here close at 5pm sharp. I had given hopes of finding my outfit and had settled my mind to wear the black dress I wore to Beca Christmas Cocktails last year. But yeah I was fortunate enough to spot it. Infact I liked two dresses there which were in complete contrast of each other.
The cake is booked and bigger and cuter than last year’s. The menu is finally fixed and I am not altering it any more.
The dance party lights are booked and so is the party playlist.
The invites are sent out.
All I need is good luck for weather to be good and super shiny for the day party (yeah there are two parties) 
I also hope i get double the gifts

Wish us luck. I still can’t guess my surprise gift – have been told I will either jump with sheer joy or sigh with sheer disappointment(!!). Will obviously share the gift details too in part 2 of this post.
Off topics – saw ‘Whats you Rashee’ (sheer crap!), 8 weeks to fly, shopping for gifts for family back home, can’t wait to see ‘Wake Up Sid’ but party prep and assignments are keeping me busy, can’t guess my surprise gift..and its killing me, The Body Shop is giving me 20% off on all its product during the whole birthday week (wohoo going tomorrow to raid the store) and Xbox 360 is still at the Microsoft’s Aussie centre for repair so basking in the glory of hubby’s full time attention
Its time I get my Wii – Fit
